I've never wasted more time accomplishing nothing in a game until this one. Months trying to get one opus every morning and one character who I have all upgrade materials for but never pull. I have never played a game that punishes players by withholding upgrade resources. Only play this game is you want to grind endlessly after the first part of the story; which is amazing. Theyve taken the best parts of the game and ruined it for cash and maybe to torture people?

I really like the game play and speed of story progression. The only thing I'd recommend is more customization in the battle. For example, being able to 'rest' a team member, or 'guard'. That way you use the other team skills more effectively. Update: I now find there are characters with a 'guard' skill. Excellent. I still believe a 'rest' skill would come in handy -- i.e. to skip a turn without moving to reserves

This barely feels like a mobile RPG, and more like a handheld console JRPG. Great story and characters, beautiful graphics, lots of content and all of it is free! But that is to be expected when the writer of chrono Trigger is involved. Highly recommended to give it a try. (note that you will have to do a big, slow download of ~1.5GB,but it's worth it. Sometimes the app says it crashed during the download, but just tell Android to wait a bit more)
