Please make the app stop automatically changing notification settings. I intentionally have selected what I would and would not like to receive app notifications about. But, for some reason, the app automatically turns on daily read notifications. I don't want to be notified of that and it's automatically turned back on after closing and restarting the app.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We understand how frustrating it is to have your notification preferences reset. We've shared your feedback with our app team and will investigate the issue. We appreciate your patience and your continued support.

I rate the Washington Post app as one of the highest for value; that is, the subscription cost compared with the content -- the in-depth articles, the variety of articles -- including on-the-point wellness articles -- as perhaps the best in the industry. I pay more for the NY Times, but refer to the Post more often!

Not so much loving the Post anymore and the app crashes every 5 minutes. I'm practically only subscribing for Carolyn Hax and I can't see her columns in the app. The tab for her stories doesn’t work and if I Google and try to link to it in the app, it shuts down. If there was any more evidence that Jeff Bezos could care less about this institution, I'm not sure what it would be. The app doesn't work!
