Fun game! Simple controls. Fast paced action. Cool visual style. But man is it a grind if you want to play for free. It took me 3 months to beat the "friendly midnight" level with 3 stars. The next level "sorrow of iron" - i just breeze through all the basic enemies and retain full health. Then the boss just deletes it with a couple of attacks. Upgrades don't help. Content lacks variety so there's not much else to do. Feels like a dead end. Unfortunate.

(Take this review with a grain of salt.) There's a significant jump in the second chapter, because the moment you reach it, you're going to have to grind which, technically is what Swordash is about. While I did grab this game to play some hack and slashing, the challenge is there. I would have preferred to give players a bit more grace with these chapters, maybe extend them slowly and give more guidance with improving (refining, upgrading, opening crates, etc.) instead of exponentially growing.

this game is almost lame now, you hardly pick up any elemental weapon buffs like you used and that takes away from how visually stunning the game used to be. And the ads, i don't mind them but lately they are 01:30 minutes and literally force you to go to playstore after watching them... It's just not as fun as fun as it used to be for me, and I've had this game for over 3 years now...
